Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 13 at Stier-Israel Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Grant and Pastor Carl Kandel officiating. Calling hours will be 10-11 a.m. Friday morning at the funeral home. Interment will be in Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Aultman Alliance Hospice or to the Christ United Methodist Church (Louisville) Memorial Fund. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial gifts in honor of Lyle be sent to Peace Mennonite Church (9300 West Ridge Road, Elyria OH 44035). Professionally, Lyle worked as a sales manager and school district treasurer. He sought to live out his faith in Jesus by being a servant in every area of his life, and sought the good of all he came into contact with. He is preceded in death by his parents, his twin sister Lila and his daughter Sharon. He is survived by wife Edna, sister Marj, son Mark and granddaughter Lucie.
